Does anyone have these original pictures????

I do. I mean I have the original newspaper.
But the scan is good isnt it?
One of them, I made as a drawing in 1996.The story behind these pictures is unclear to me.
The tabloid sugggests that these pictures "came into their hands".
They were printed in 1996, I believe,
But it seems they were taken in 1993 when Tarkan was already famous.
I wonder why, how, and if this maybe was some marketing strategy by Tarkan or his manager Ahmet San. He was very clever in those days to shock and please Turkish audience.
This whole event seems a copy of the Madonna playboy pictures (nude pics of Madonna printed, but those were really from before she was afmous)
It seemed like an image trick, and I think these pics were meant to fall into the hands of the media. But I am still not sure how it was done, and if media were aware they were being manipulated (they are not too smart).
Tarkan never made any comment on these pictures.
If anyone has more information about their origin, I would like to know about it.

Who knows, you might be right. Maybe it was a marketing strategy.

These are pictures from Tarkan's birthday, when Bilge gave him as a prsent a little cat. Right?

I know that they were published in Hafta Sonu in 94, the same year the other "sexy" pics were published in Cosmopolitan, but I don't know the story behind it. I know that Ali posted an essay written by Adelind Osmanli about the metamorphosis of Tarkan's image on Tarkan Deluxe (http://tarkandeluxe.blogspot.com/2007/12/chronicle-of-tarkans-image.html). It includes mention of the photos and the photos from Aman magazine but does not tell the story either. They do have good images of the pictures though in his "Tarkan Visual" section.

Yeah I read about the pictures on Tarkan Deluxe too. I think it could probably been a promotional idea. There have been so many like these here in the U.S. used for such a trick. Just like with Prince, his manager created his sexy career and alot of the things he did back then were for show. He talked about that a few years ago when he seperated from the label he was using all that time..

That's not true He's an animal lover, and he loves all kinds of animals....

Someone once asked him"Cats or dogs?" the answear to that question was...

When he had to answer to this next question "The most faithful..."
He said "Dogs". but that doesn't mean that he doesn't like cats

I'm shure Bilge wouldn't have given him a cat as a present if this thing was true..
